I’m one of the few hairdressers in the UK to be awarded the Colour Specialist degree, also currently a L’Oréal Educator in Northern Ireland. Colour is my passion; in all areas of my life I need colour! I really get a buzz from seeing my team members moving forward, taking part in photo-shoots, charity days & competitions.

I’m passionate about supporting our amazing team of stylists and helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes. From implementing salon policies and managing inventory to answering your questions, I’m here to make sure your visit is always special. My goal is to create a welcoming and upbeat atmosphere so you leave feeling fabulous!
Elaine Dobson (Salon Educator)
I started at Peter Maud as a stylist, I have been working with the salon for over 20 years now! I moved on to educating our new apprentices, instilling the values and expectations we have here. I train them in everything from cutting, colouring and blow drying. I love my job as salon educator and love watching the kids grow in the industry and find their style and what they love.

Home grown in the ‘House of Maud’ recently graduated my L’Oreal Colour Specialist Degree. I love all aspects of my job from cutting and colouring hair to hair ups and I enjoy being part of a team.

I love my job and wouldn’t be anything but a hairdresser, because I get the feel good factor when clients leave the salon feeling wonderful about how they look. I enjoy doing colour work; you can be very creative and change the look of your hair without actually cutting it.
